Lakewood Tigers Club Coaches and Staff
Coach Alex Strouth
Alex has been coaching at the Lakewood Youth Wrestling club since 2017, when his son joined the team as a kindergartener. He teaches wrestling fundamentals like body positioning, creating and taking space, hand control, and sound technique. Alex was a two-time high school state qualifier in Ohio and wrestled for 3 years in college at Colorado School of Mines and the University of British Columbia. Alex's goal is for his wrestlers to have fun, learn new skills, and participate in a wide variety of other sports and activities.

Coach Eric Entlich
Eric wrestled his High School years in Virginia where he took 4th in State at 119 pounds. He was recruited to wrestle at Virginia Tech where he was a 3 year starter at 134 pounds. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he coached High School teams in both Maryland and Virginia for 6 years. Eric has been a coach with the youth team at Lakewood for the last 5 seasons.

Krista Bergren
I've been helping run the Lakewood Youth club since 2015. I manage season registration, team funds, tournament registration, team gear, team banquet, and all other non coaching needs for the club. My son started in this club when he was 4 years old and is now a Lakewood High School wrestler.
